7/11/10Paulino will throw a rehab start on Tuesday at AA. He is expected to throw 60 to 65 pitches in his start. "That would put him on track," Manager Brad Mills said. "He'll do a side session, and we're not sure if we'll throw a simulated game as well."

6/24/10Shoulder tendinitis has put Paulino on the 15-day disabled list. The move is retroactive to Monday.
6/04/10Paulino, who pitches for the Astros in tonight's series opener against the Cubs, hasn't won a game in 10 starts this year, in part because he has the worst run support average in the Majors (1.97). Houston has scored only 13 runs in the 59 1/3 innings he's been on the mound.
5/26/10Paulino (0-7) certainly deserved a better fate. The Astros fell to 1-8 in games in which he started this year, but he pitched six innings and allowed seven hits and two runs on a two-run homer by Ryan Braun in the first inning. That was enough offense to send the Astros to their third consecutive loss and ninth in 11 games.
5/04/10Astros starter Felipe Paulino (0-4) kept the game at 1-1 through the third inning before a one-out walk spelled trouble in the fourth. Snyder made him pay later in the inning by hitting a three-run homer that cleared the railroad tracks in left field and left the ballpark, putting Arizona in control, 4-1.
4/28/10Astros starter Felipe Paulino (0-3) lasted five innings and gave up six runs and six hits, but only two of the runs were earned.
3/31/10Astros right-hander Felipe Paulino, who appears to have won a spot in the starting pitching rotation, could hardly move Wednesday after suffering back spasms in his lower back while playing catch. He will be re-examined Thursday.
3/23/10Felipe Paulino made progress toward locking up the fifth spot in the Houston Astros’ starting rotation, pitching five strong innings Tuesday in an 11-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
