Chris Dickerson could join the Reds shortly following a trip to California for his grandmother's funeral.

Dickerson hit .442 with a .528 on-base percentage and a .767 slugging percentage during his 13-game rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Louisville. He had three home runs and seven RBI.
"He's probably ready," Reds general manager Walt Jocketty said.
If the Reds activate Dickerson, Drew Stubbs' roster spot is probably in jeopardy. Stubbs did not start Friday for the fifth straight game and is in a 1-for-37 slump.

"I've talked with specialists from all disciplines, and when you get into the wrist, it's very delicate. And it can be very touchy sometimes." He was sore after taking BP, so the team gave him a cortisone shot and will wait a few more days before trying again.
