Matusz was the lone bright spot for the Orioles during their horrific start, but lately it has been Matusz thatt has been horrific. Matusz is 0-5 in his last seven starts with a 6.50 ERA and a 1.83 WHIP. He has allowed six or more runs in three of the seven starts. He is a two-start pitcher next week but will face the Yankees and the Red Sox. He should be reserved until he can regain his early season form.
