11/20/24 Former Lions WR a semifinalist for Pro Football HOF. Anquan Boldin finished his 14-year NFL career with a single season in Detroit in 2016. Now, that season could be the ap a Hall of Fame career. Boldin is a semifinalist for the 2025 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the NFL announced on Wednesday. Boldin had 67 catches for 584 yards in his lone season with the Lions.

In Week 17, Waddle was unable to surpass Anquan Boldin for most receptions by a wide receiver in a rookie season, though he’ll have one more shot to do so next week against the New England Patriots. Against the Titans, the uber-talented pass catcher struggled to get any momentum going, as he was clearly a focal point of Tennessee’s defensive game plan. On seven targets, Waddle managed just three receptions for 47 yards.
