Ben Roethlisberger (QB - PIT)

Kaboly Has Heard ‘Rumblings’ That Aaron Rodgers Wants To ‘Call His Own Plays’. Since Ben Roethlisberger retired following the 2021 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have shifted control of the offense back into the hands of their offensive coordinators. Even with a potential Hall of Famer last year in Russell Wilson, the Steelers were reportedly hesitant to give him full control at the line of scrimmage. According to one […]

Breece Hall (RB - NYJ)

5/23/25 12:42 PM -
Iowa State Standout Named Top Trade Candidate After Frustrating NFL Season. A couple of years ago, former Iowa State Cyclones star Breece Hall appeared to be one of the top up and coming running backs in the NFL, and entering his third professional season with the New York Jets in 2024, many had him pegged as a potential breakout candidate. Yes, he added 57 catches for 483 yards and three scores, but to put it plainly, more was expected from Hall last year. Now, with the Jets having a new coaching staff in place, Hall is at the center of trade speculation, and Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine has listed him as one of New York's top trade candidates with training camp approaching.

The Rams added veteran wide receiver Davante Adams to this offensive scheme. The franchise is looking for him to fill the void left by Cooper Kupp's departure this season, and he, alongside young star Puka Nacua, can do so.

Jaguars' Defense Making Early Strides. For the Jacksonville Jaguars to have a successful 2025 season, they will need their defense to make an even bigger leap than their offense. The Jaguars' defense was among the very worst in the entire NFL a year ago, and the Jaguars spent plenty of resources in free agency and the draft on ensuring they could fix that quickly. The defense had a far better day in the first OTA practice of the season earlier this week, forcing several turnovers and overall simply having an effective day against new head coach Liam Coen's offense.

Derrick Henry Determined to Win Super Bowl with Ravens. After spending the first eight years of his career establishing him as one of the NFL's all-time greats with the Tennessee Titans, the closest Derrick Henry ever got to making it to the Super Bowl was the 2019 AFC championship. When the two-time league rushing champion was set to hit the free agent market for the first time in his career last offseason, landing somewhere he could both legitimately and immediately contend for and potentially win a Vince Lombardi trophy was a top priority and played a key factor in him ultimately joining the Baltimore Ravens, a perennial title contender. “I want to win a championship here and that's why I came here and that's always gonna be the goal,” Henry said in a recent appearance on 'The Lounge' podcast. The Ravens and the five-time Pro Bowler agreed to a two-year extension to keep him in Baltimore through the 2027 season after his first year with the team couldn't have gone any better in every way but the one that mattered most, winning a championship.

Ravens Defender Joins Lamar Jackson as Top Players. The Baltimore Ravens roster is full of talent, which is news to no one. Baltimore consistently finds themselves in the 11-13 win territory, so long as Lamar Jackson stays healthy, and have a healthy balance of home-grown stars and free agent signees that have helped them grow into an even bigger headache for opposing teams to stop. Because of all that talent, ranking the top three players on the roster may be a bit of a chore, but Pro Football Focus revealed who they believe to be the team's top players. Jackson, running back Derrick Henry, and safety Kyle Hamilton were given the honor.

Patriots Veteran LB Could Be in Serious Trouble. The New England Patriots have spent a whole lot of time addressing their defense this offseason, spending a good chunk of their cap room on that side of the ball. The Patriots' offense was definitely the far bigger problem in 2024, but New England's defense absolutely showed some frightening signs of slippage, as well. The Pats added some big names in free agency, signing pieces like Harold Landry, Milton Williams and Carlton Davis, but they may also have some ancillary players on the roster that could ultimately make an impact on the Patriots' roster decisions. Graham Wilker of Musket Fire specifically names linebacker Monty Rice — whom Mike Vrabel coached with the Tennessee Titans — as someone who could crash the party, and if that happens, veteran Jahlani Tavai could be the odd man out.

George Pickens sure seems to be fitting in like a glove at the start of his Dallas Cowboys tenure, and he didn't refrain from taking a thinly-veiled shot at the Pittsburgh Steelers during OTAs when asked what's stood out about his new team thus far. No one can blame Pickens for adopting such a positive attitude amidst a fresh start while entering a contract year. Pickens is among the most talented wide receivers in the league, evidenced by his 2,841 yards while playing in what was a hapless offense for a vast majority of his three years in Pittsburgh, but his on-field production was at least partially offset by his behavior. Ever since the realignment of the NFL took place in 2002, resulting in the dissolving of the AFC Central and creating the AFC North, no team has won the division three straight years in a row, but that could very well change in 2025. There have been six instances of teams winning back-to-back division titles, with the Baltimore Ravens having the most such occurrences over that span, with three. There has only been one instance when a team has three claimed of four, the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2007-2011. The most significant determining factor in which team winds up on top of what is widely believed to be the consistently toughest division in the NFL has been the health and availability of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

"Jim's dedication and passion for the Indianapolis Colts in addition to his generosity, commitment to the community, and most importantly, his love for his family were unsurpassed." Major Outlet Ranks Ja'Marr Chase Outside NFL's Top-Two Wide Receivers. CINCINNATI — Pro Football Focus writer Trevor Sikkema does not have Ja'Marr Chase atop his latest NFL wide receiver ranking, despite his historic 2024 season. The triple-crown winner checked in at No. 3 on his ranking behind Philadelphia's A.J. Brown and Minnesota's Justin Jefferson. "The 2024 triple-crown winner — first in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns — excelled in several areas, but his work after the catch stood out most," Sikkema wrote . "He gained 800 yards after the catch last season and leads all receivers with 1,788 yards after the catch since 2022." Bengals fans will surely take issue with this ranking, especially with Brown above Chase and Jefferson. "Brown

Money not-so-well spent: The Bills' 5 worst contract values. The NFL's salary cap continues to climb to new heights. It's set at $279.2 million for the 2025 season, an increase of nearly $100 million from the $182.5 million limit in 2021. To field a competitive team around league MVP Josh Allen, however, it's a requirement for general manager Brandon Beane to avoid as many “bad” contracts as he can.

It's time for Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. to take the reins. For Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr., there has to be some comfort — and confidence — heading into organized team activities, knowing it's his team and his offense to run. “I would say that Mike approaches everything pretty much the exact same, no matter what role he's in — he just puts his head down, and he goes to work," Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson said Wednesday. After last season's baptism by fire in Penix's starts in the final three regular-season games, there's rightful optimism and excitement about what he can bring in the full-time role, succeeding Kirk Cousins as the play caller.

Where is Adalius Thomas, Patriots bust who famously didn't own a flying car?. Remember Adalius Thomas ? He was one of Bill Belichick 's biggest free-agent signings – and busts. He's best remembered for being sent home from practice after a snowstorm caused him to arrive late to the facility. The incident led to one of the most famous lines in New England Patriots history: “What do you do? It's not 'The Jetsons,' I can't jump up and just fly. What the heck am I supposed to do?” It's been 16 years since then, and still no flying cars. Let's check in to see where Thomas is now. Where are former Patriots now? | Adalius Thomas (2007-2009) Thomas currently lives in Duluth, Georgia. He recently joined the coaching ranks to work under a former Baltimore Ravens teammate: Deion
