Now, after a few months in the media, Belichick is looking for his next job in football, as Inside Carolina's Grant Hughes reported that New England's former coach interviewed for the open head coach job at the University of North Carolina. The Houston Texans are making sure they take care of the young talent on their team for the foreseeable future, and that includes Brevin Jordan. The Texans announced that they signed Jordan to a one-year extension, as he was set to have a big season but tore his ACL in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears. Jordan was selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft and was in the final year of his rookie contract. The Broncos' fifth-round draft pick got thrown into Monday night's prime time rollercoaster against Cleveland with 2 minutes, 54 seconds left in place of struggling veteran Levi Wallace. The Browns were getting the ball back at their own 30 and trailing just 34-32. Considering quarterback Jameis Winston already had 446 passing yards at that juncture and his offense finished with 522 yards total, getting 35 or so to set up a field goal attempt hardly seemed like a long shot.

The Cleveland Browns offense has begun to look a bit more cohesive as of late, and part of the reason for that has been the return of their star running back Nick Chubb. After he suffered a torn MCL and damaged ACL in Week 2 last season, Chubb didn't take the field until Week 7 this year, and since then, he's racked up 274 total yards and four touchdowns over six games. In Week 14, the Browns will be making the trip out to Acrisure Stadium to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, with this being the location where Chubb suffered his gruesome injury last year. The Las Vegas Raiders will be going back to the drawing board at quarterback in 2025 after the team failed to find its long-term solution at the position in 2024. Before failing to draft a signal-caller, the Raiders signed Gardner Minshew to compete with Aidan O'Connell, and the veteran quarterback ended up winning the job. It's still not out of the norm to at least dabble in who the Chargers could potentially land in the upcoming draft. Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus composed a three-round mock draft, with the Chargers coming away with a solid haul of talent.
