5/27/25 Ronald Acuna Jr. is 'most talented' Braves player ever, analyst says. The Atlanta Braves recently received a boost with the return of 2023 league MVP Ronald Acuna Jr., who had been out since May of last season with a torn ACL. Acuna wasted no time making his presence known, crushing the first pitch he saw into the seats for a home run vs the San Diego Padres and following that up with another home run in Game 2 of the series. The Braves are hoping that with Acuna now back in the lineup, they'll be able to continue to make up ground in the NL playoff standings after their horrendous 0-7 start to the year, which threatened to end the season before it even began. There's no understating just how important Acuna is to this ball club.

5/25/25 Braves' Matt Olson makes 'born with it' Ronald Acuna Jr. admission after scorching start. The Atlanta Braves are sure happy to have Ronald Acuna Jr. back in the lineup. Just about a year after suffering the second torn ACL of his career, Acuna rejoined the Braves' lineup this past week and wasted no time returning to the MVP version of himself, crushing the very first pitch he saw into the Truist Park seats. While the Braves went on to lose that game vs the San Diego Padres, Acuna did not stop there, launching another home run in the next game of the series, which the Braves ended up winning 7-1. After the game, Braves first baseman Matt Olson made a blunt admission about what makes Acuna so special.

5/24/25 Ronald Acuna Jr. Ties Aaron Judge in Some Impressive Data-Driven History. The Atlanta Braves lost 2-1 on Friday night against the San Diego Padres, remaining under .500 at 24-26. While the loss was unfortunate, the return of Ronald Acuna Jr. was the real story. Playing his first game in nearly a calendar year because of a torn ACL, Acuna went 2-for-4 with a home run, a run scored and an RBI. He also threw out a runner at second base on a ball to right field and tied Aaron Judge in some impressive data-driven history. Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com: 467 ft! This is Ronald Acuña Jr.'s 13th career 460+ ft home run, including playoffs That ties Aaron Judge for most in MLB since the start of 2018 What's even more impressive about that is that Acuna missed much of the 2021 season

5/23/25 Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. set to return to face Padres. Ronald Acuna Jr. will return from knee surgery that has kept him out for nearly a year when the Atlanta Braves open a three-game series against the visiting San Diego Padres. "It'll be good, he feels ready and that's great," Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said. Acuna tore the his left knee anterior cruciate ligament on May 26, 2024, and underwent surgery less than two weeks later. In six minor league rehab games this year, one in Class-A and five in Triple-A, Acuna batted .400 (6-for-15) with two home runs and two doubles.

5/22/25 Braves expected to get Ronald Acuna Jr. boost after late Triple-A scratch. A year ago, Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. suffered an ACL tear while running the bases. That meant he missed the remainder of the 2024 season and the start of the 2025 campaign in a tough blow for the electric outfielder. Acuna has been working his way back at Triple-A Gwinnett in hopes of coming back to the big league team. On Thursday, Acuna was originally in the Gwinnett lineup, but he was later scratched and removed from the lineup before the game. Ronald Acuña Jr. has been removed from tonight's lineup for Gwinnett ?? he is expected to be leading off tomorrow night in Atlanta for the Braves https://t.co/B7Rq3a4Zyv — Kevin Keneely (@KevinKeneely1) May 22, 2025 While it's not official,

5/18/25 Braves rumors: Bob Nightengale predicts Ronald Acuna Jr.'s injury return. The Atlanta Braves have been playing improved baseball as of late, currently sitting at the .500 mark despite a crushing loss to the Boston Red Sox on Saturday evening. The Braves seem to have put a brutal 0-7 start to the season behind them and are now looking to make up ground in the crowded NL East. Atlanta has played the opening portion of this season without superstar outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr., who tore his ACL around this time in last year's campaign and has been out of the lineup ever since. “Acun~a, who is recovering from his second ACL tear, should be able to return in time for Atlanta's next home stand beginning May 23,” reported Nightengale.

5/17/25 Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. crushes home run amid injury recovery. The Atlanta Braves have been without Ronald Acuna Jr. The superstar Braves outfielder tore his ACL on May 26 last season. Acuna Jr.'s road to recovery has been a long one, but he showed he's not far away from his return. It's good news for Brian Snitker's team, who needs their leader to rejoin the lineup alongside Ozzie Albies.

5/15/25 Braves predicted to cut ties with polarizing young player during deadline trade. With Ronald Acuna Jr expected to return to the Atlanta Braves sometime in the near future, the organization has some decisions to make. The Braves are much better than they showed over the first few weeks of the regular season. If anything, Atlanta still has an opportunity to win a World Series if things go its way. Health will be the top priority, but if they can get that out of the way, the Braves have a lot of talent and are capable of being a very good team.

5/12/25 Braves' Spencer Strider makes huge announcement amid injury. It's tough to get a feel for who the Atlanta Braves are as a team. On paper, when healthy, the Braves should be one of the better teams in Major League Baseball. With Ronald Acuna Jr. expected back in the near future, the Braves should feel somewhat confident about things turning around. Adding Spencer Strider to the mix, too, the right-handed ace, should only help Atlanta.

5/02/25 Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. gets encouraging injury update with a catch. The Atlanta Braves are currently without superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. due to injury, but it appears he's trending in the right direction. While he doesn't have a specific timetable for return, the former NL MVP is expected to be back in the Braves lineup towards the end of May, as reported by Mark Bowman. Acuna Jr tore his ACL early last season and has been rehabbing ever since. Adding Acuna to the fold makes them even better.

5/01/25 Braves get major Ronald Acuna Jr. injury update. The Atlanta Braves have started to figure things out a bit, a promising sign as the team hopes to, at the very least, make the playoffs. The Braves understand that if they sneak into the postseason, things will go their way, and that's all they need to do at this point. Already 6.5 games behind the first-place New York Mets in the National League East, and with the way the Mets have been playing to start the year, it might be tough for the Braves to catch them. Yes, it's only May 1, but if the Mets continue to play this way, it looks like they'll run away with the division.
