9/08/24 What Yankees see from Aaron Judge, a .175 hitter with no homers in last 11 games. Cubs reliever Tyson Miller's 2-2 sweeper to Yankees center fielder Aaron Judge in the seventh inning Saturday was a mistake pitch that was high and over the plate on the outside portion. Judge went with the pitch and hit it well to right-center, 107.7 mph off the bat.

8/30/24 Cubs escape with 7-6 win over Nationals. It's a good thing the Cubs scored seven runs in the second inning. Entering the ninth, the Cubs turned to reliever Tyson Miller to shut the door. Miller has been effective for the Cubs in late-inning situations, but he didn't have it Friday, allowing two doubles, a single and a run while inducing one out. With runners on first and third with one out, manager Craig Counsell turned to reliable veteran Drew Smyly, who promptly loaded the bases, struck out catcher Keibert Ruiz and then allowed an RBI single that scored two runs that were charged to Miller.

7/05/24 Tyson Miller quietly emerging as Cubs' trade chip at MLB Trade Deadline. The Chicago Cubs shouldn't be buying at the Major League Baseball Trade Deadline and when the decision is between whether the Cubs should stand pat or sell, it's an easy one. While the Cubs may not have the star power to make the aggressive selling moves that Jed Hoyer accomplished at the Trade Deadline during the 2021 season, the team has several players who could be flipped without jeopardizing the long-term direction of the team. At the top of the list may be Tyson Miller, who the Cubs claimed off waivers earlier this season in an effort to stabilize a sinking bullpen. Miller was designated for assignment by the Seattle Mariners, a move that was more due to the Mariners' roster crunch than to the pitcher's performance.

7/02/24 Seattle Mariners Notebook: 3 things from local minor league teams. The Seattle Mariners made a trade that went under the radar in May, acquiring 27-year-old minor leaguer Jake Slaughter from the Chicago Cubs for relief pitcher Tyson Miller. Slaughter came to the Mariners' system with strong power numbers, owning an .879 OPS with five homers in 32 games for Triple-A Iowa. If you've ever been to Cheney Stadium, home of the Mariners' Triple-A affiliate, you know about the very tall wall in center field. Slaughter's blast was just one of three on the night in the Rainiers' 7-3 win over the Salt Lake Bees, with the other two coming from some familiar names for Mariners fans: Tyler Locklear and Jonatan Clase, a pair of rookies who have made their MLB debuts with Seattle this season.

5/30/24 Gary Sánchez hits tiebreaking 2-run homer in 8th inning as Brewers defeat the Cubs 6-4. Gary Sánchez hit a tiebreaking two-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning and the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-4. The NL Central-leading Brewers won three of four games against Chicago in a series that marked Cubs manager Craig Counsell’s return to American Family Field. Counsell is the winningest manager in Brewers history. He was showered with boos every time he left the dugout this week. Sánchez put the Brewers ahead for good with a 422-foot drive over the center-field wall on a 3-2 sweeper from Tyson Miller.

5/14/24 Seattle Mariners Trade Reliever to Chicago Cubs For Minor League Infielder. The Seattle Mariners have traded relief pitcher Tyson Miller to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for infielder Jake Slaughter, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Monday night. Seattle designated Miller for assignment on Friday when they reinstated starting pitcher Bryan Woo from the 15-day injured list. Miller owned a 3.09 ERA, 0.779 WHIP and 9.3 strikeouts per nine innings in nine appearances this season before he got bumped off the 40-man roster.

1/04/24 2023 Los Angeles Dodgers Player Reviews: Tyson Miller. Opening up the 2023 season with the Milwaukee Brewers, Tyson Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 12 for cash considerations. The Dodgers and Brewers connected on a deal after Miller was designated for assignment, and he was then assigned to Triple-A Oklahoma City. The right-hander would make just two appearances with OKC before receiving his first call-up to Major League Baseball on July 26. Miller got his first taste of game action that same day when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts brought him in while trailing 6-1 to the Toronto Blue Jays.

12/27/23 2023 Dodgers in review: Tyson Miller. Of the 58 players to appear in at least one game for the Dodgers in 2023, Tyson Miller was the only one to wear two different numbers during the season. It was part of a busy year for the right-hander, who pitched for three different major league teams. The right-hander, now 28, played his prep baseball at Shadow Hills High School in Indio, then played at college at Cal Baptist in Riverside. “I wasn't really a Dodgers fan until I got into pro ball and saw it behind the scenes, and not just as a fan,” Miller said in an interview with True Blue LA in July.

10/16/23 Dodgers Minor League Free Agents: Tyson Miller, Jake Reed & Zack Burdi. The Los Angeles Dodgers had their season come to an end much earlier than anticipated as they were swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Division Series. It marked a second consecutive year in which the Dodgers' playoff run was ended by an NL West opponent, and in both instances the team appeared flat. While the offseason started for the Dodgers, free agency won't begin until the morning after the World Series concludes.

10/16/23 Dodgers notes: Tyson Miller, Jake Reed, Zack Burdi elect free agency. Believe it or not, the major league postseason continues on even though the Dodgers aren't playing. Tyson Miller, Jake Reed, and Zack Burdi all spent some time on the Dodgers' 40-man roster this season, and within the last week or so all three elected free agency. None of them have the required three years of major league service time to elect free agency after getting sent outright to the minors, but since all three have been outrighted at least twice in their careers, they had the ability to choose their freedom.

8/27/23 Dodgers claim RHP Tyson Miller, move Tony Gonsolin to 60-day IL. (Photo credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports) The Los Angeles Dodgers are bringing right-handed pitcher Tyson Miller back into the fold. After acquiring Miller from the Milwaukee Brewers and waiving him earlier this summer, the Dodgers claimed Miller off waivers from the New York Mets on Sunday. The Dodgers also transferred right-hander Tony Gonsolin to the 60-day injured list. Miller, 28, made one relief appearance for the Dodgers earlier this year, allowing two runs and three hits over two innings July 26 in a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. The New York Mets claimed Miller off waivers after Los Angeles designated him for assignment in early August. Miller played in one game for the Mets -- he

5/26/23 This time the Brewers get blanked. It's shutout week at American Family Stadium. After the Brewers kept the Houston Astros off the scoreboard both Tuesday and Wednesday, turnabout was fair play as the San Francisco Giants opened a four game series by shutting out the Brewers 5-0. The Giants used their bullpen in the opener and six pitchers combined on the four hit shutout. The Brewers drew a pair of walks for a grand total of six base runners all night. San Francisco broke the game open with a four run 8th inning off relief pitcher Tyson Miller. Michael Conforto capped a 4 for 4 night with a solo home run in the rally. It spoiled the debut of newly signed starter Julio Teheran. The former Atlanta Braves All-Star made his first
