3/18/23 Diamondbacks Spring Gameday Thread #23: vs. Guardians. Seen plenty of action, appearing in 15 games, and has an impressive line o .433/.528/.633 for a 1.161, with almost as many walks (5) as strikeouts (6). Quietly accumulating games - only Luis Frias has seen more Cactus League action for the D-backs - and doing well in those appearances. After nine games, Walker has no home-runs or walks, and just one extra-base hit.

9/19/21 Big bats can't save Diamondbacks in loss to Astros. With a 98-mph fastball in his back pocket in his major league debut, Diamondbacks right-hander Luis Frias fed the Houston Astros’ Jose Altuve nothing but breaking balls in the seventh inning on Sunday. Frias elicited several off-balance swings from the former American League MVP, the at-bat ending with the first strikeout of Frias’ big league career. It was an alluring moment for the Diamondbacks’ power-armed prospect.

9/08/21 Diamondbacks Minor League Recap 9/7/2021. Luis Frias struggled with control in this game, but allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, 3 walks, and 3 strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings. Reno’s offense continued to blow opportunities, going 1 for 11 w/ RISP and stranding 10 on base. The worst one was blowing a bases loaded opportunity in the 3rd inning that could have turned a 2-run inning into a monster inning.
