5/02/25 Jets Could Still Pull Off Huge Trade To Reunite Justin Fields With College WR. The New York Jets came into the 2025 NFL Draft with a need for a wide receiver, but it wasn't likely they would use one of their top draft selections on one. Following selections of Armand Membou in round 1 and Mason Taylor in round 2, all eyes turned to the Jets taking a wide receiver in round 3, but they didn't opt to draft one until the fourth round.

4/30/25 New York Jets predicted to cut 2024 NFL draft pick after just one season. The New York Jets have an interesting situation in their quarterbacks room, but not at the top of the depth chart, where Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor are locked in as the No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Obviously, we're interested to see how Fields fares in 2025, however his spot is set atop the depth chart, so there isn't much offseason intrigue there. Instead, it's what goes on behind Fields and Taylor that is one of the more interesting storylines to watch during the offseason.

4/28/25 Jets' Justin Fields Under Increased Pressure Heading Into 2025 Season. The New York Jets opted to sign quarterback Justin Fields earlier this offseason shortly after cutting veteran Aaron Rodgers. The decision to cut Rodgers has aged like fine wine as the veteran signal caller has been as dramatic as possible on his way out the door. A lot of analysts expected the Jets to add a top ranked quarterback in the NFL Draft as a potential backup or competition piece to Fields. Jaxson Dart and Shedeur Sanders were both rumored targets of the Jets, but New York didn't bite on either of them.

4/28/25 Jets Predicted To Select Justin Fields' Replacement With No. 1 Overall Pick In 2026. The Justin Fields era hasn't even begun yet for the New York Jets. But now that the 2025 NFL Draft has passed, the clock is already ticking on the 25-year-old. Fields was once a first-round pick for the Chicago Bears in 2021. He spent three years in Chicago and one with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, but still hasn't yet proven that he can be a reliable starting quarterback in the league. Still, the Jets took a chance on him, inking him to a two-year, $40 million free-agent contract in March. He'll be an interesting project in New York, but if that project doesn't work out, the Jets could be in position to do what they didn't this year--draft a first-round QB. On Monday, that's exactly what

4/27/25 Why QB Caleb Williams was the big beneficiary of the Bears' draft haul. At his first NFL Scouting Combine as general manager three years ago, Ryan Poles said the Bears had researched the best ways to help Justin Fields. “Sometimes it can be a slot receiver, sometimes it can be a second tight end, it can be a big [receiver] outside,” Poles said then.

4/26/25 Jets among favorites to end Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders' legendary NFL draft slide. The New York Jets have had multiple chances to draft Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who is in the midst of a legendary slide in the 2025 NFL draft. While it remains to be seen why Sanders has fallen so far after he was projected to be a first-round pick all offseason long, it's not crazy to think the Jets could take a shot on him on Day 3. After all, the jury is still out on Justin Fields being a long-term answer under center and it wouldn't hurt to have a young insurance policy. When it comes to the betting odds for his landing spot, the Pittsburgh Steelers top the list, according to BetMGM.
