7/21/25 | Surprise Buffalo Bills' veteran named 'non starter to know' in 2025. The Buffalo Bills went into this offseason needing more help in the passing game. Instead of going for a big splash, however, they signed Joshua Palmer to a three-year contract worth up to $36 million. The former second-round pick was unable to make it work with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, but is determined to find a role in Buffalo. 7/08/25 | Bills named dark-horse landing spot for disgruntled $68 million receiver. The Buffalo Bills enter the 2025 season as one of the Super Bowl favorites. With five consecutive AFC East titles under their belt, they've had no problem making it to the postseason, but they've been unable to get past the AFC Championship Game. This offseason, they focused on improving their defense by signing Joey Bosa, Michael Hoecht, and Larry Ogunjobi in free agency. 6/14/25 | Chargers' top weapon already hurt, and this case is particularly concerning. The Los Angeles Chargers unfortunately did not do a whole lot to address their ailing receiving corps in free agency, only replacing the departed Joshua Palmer with the familiar Mike Williams. Williams of course spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Chargers before taking a one-year detour with the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. Now, Williams is back in Los Angeles, and he is hoping to re-establish himself as a dangerous weapon. Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/chargers/los-angeles-charge... |

6/11/25 | Chargers predicted to cut ties with top weapon right after signing him. The Los Angeles Chargers made one free-agent signing at the wide receiver position this offseason, reuniting with Mike Williams to replace the departed Joshua Palmer. The Chargers' decision to add Williams and no other veterans certainly raised some questions considering that the 30-year-old has not been productive since 2022, but nevertheless, Williams is expected to be a top weapon for Justin Herbert and the aerial attack next fall. 6/10/25 | Los Angeles Chargers are being maddeningly stubborn in one critical area. Everyone knew that the Los Angeles Chargers were in dire need of weapons heading into the offseason, but they have opted to largely avoid adding anyone of significance over the last several months. Outside of adding wide receivers Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith in the draft, the Chargers have essentially avoided addressing the position. Yes, they signed Mike Williams to replace Joshua Palmer, but Williams has not been productive since 2022. Considering that Justin Herbert was vastly short on weaponry outside of Ladd McConkey last season, you would think Los Angeles would have made more of a concerted effort to help him, but that simply has not been the case. 6/06/25 | The story of Joshua Palmer: Bills' WR was molded by cold Canadian mornings and long, quiet work. As Joshua Palmer trampled through the snow, using a goalpost to practice juke moves on a football field a block and a half from his family's home in Brampton, Ontario, he was reminded by a comforting voice why it was necessary to train in frigid temperatures. “ 'Never mind how cold it is right now,' ” Palmer recalled his father, Keith, saying. The Los Angeles Chargers have generally struck out when it comes to adding proven help to their ailing receiving corps this offseason. Yes, the Chargers reunited with Mike Williams, but he is now 30 years old and has not been productive since 2022. Plus, all Los Angeles really did was replace Joshua Palmer with him. Outside of McConkey, the Chargers do not have any truly reliable weapons in their employ. Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/chargers/los-angeles-charge... |
6/01/25 | Chargers blockbuster trade pitch adds $32 million playmaker for Justin Herbert. The Chargers lost Joshua Palmer in free agency and added Mike Williams and 2025 draft pick Tre Harris to a group that also includes Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston. Unfortunately, nobody outside of McConkey can be considered a reliable option. Williams is over the hill, Harris is unproven, and Johnston's career has been very up and down.
