8/29/25 Diamondbacks Dump Brewers. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-4 on Thursday afternoon at American Family Field. The D-Backs scored three runs in both the 2nd and 3rd innings and made it stand up. The Brewers did all their scoring early as well with one in both the first and second and two in the third. Sal Frelick hit his 10th home run and Issac Collins drove in two runs. Andrew Monasterio had the other RBI. Jose Quintana started and took the loss giving up six runs in just 3 2/3 innings of work. The Cubs lost as well, so Milwaukee is still 6 1/2 games up on Chicago and will travel to Toronto for a matchup tonight. Pre game show at 6pm on WSAU.

8/14/25 Brewers' Sal Frelick helps serve meals to kids at Milwaukee's Merrill Park. The Milwaukee Brewers have created a lot of excitement, soaring to the top of the Central Division. Sal Frelick, the gold glove outfielder, spent some of his off day fighting summer hunger in Milwaukee. Frelick joined Sargento and Hunger Task Force to serve free meals to kids at Merrill Park. The food was prepared by Centers for Independence, and along with the meals, the Brewers street team was there to play games with the kids, do some face painting, and more.

8/10/25 MIlwaukee Brewers win again over NY Mets. (WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers scored 4 runs in the seventh inning to defeat the New York Mets 7-4 at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Saturday. Trailing 4-3 in the seventh,the Brewers scored on a groundball out by Sal Frelick, a single by Isaac Collins and then got a 2-run home run from William Contreras. Contreras hit his home run after a pitch-timing violation which was called against the Mets, allowing Contreras basically a do-over. Brice Turang also homered for the Brewers. Jared Koenig got the win for Milwaukee, pitching an inning of scoreless relief to improve to 4-1. Trevor Megill earned his 28th save. The 2 teams will wrap up the series this afternoon at American Family Field. The

7/29/25 Milwaukee Brewers take first game of series from Chicago Cubs. (LEARFIELD) – The Chicago Cubs jumped out in front with three runs in the first, but Milwaukee scored four times in the bottom of the third and led the rest of the way. The first battle between National League Central Division leaders was won by the Brewers Monday night, 8-4. Sal Frelick, Christian Yelich, and Andrew Vaughn hit homers, and Nick Mears picked up the pitching win in relief while Matthew Boyd took the loss for Chicago. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Sal Frelick returned from the injured list Saturday after recovering from a left hamstring issue. Frelick was leading off and playing right field for the Brewers against the Miami Marlins. The Brewers made room for him by optioning infielder Tyler Black to Triple-A Nashville.

7/23/25 Red-Hot Brewers About To Add Another Star In July. The Milwaukee Brewers have been the hottest team in baseball recently and they are going to get even better in the not-so-distant future. Milwaukee has been missing do-it-all utility man Sal Frelick as he has dealt with a hamstring injury but MLB.com's Adam McCalvy shared that he is progressing well and that the team is hoping to get him back before the end of the month. "Sal Frelick is 'recovering nicely' from his left hamstring strain, according to the Brewers' medical team," McCalvy said. Frelick has been one of the Brewers' biggest feel-good stories of the season so far.

The team announced that outfielder Sal Frelick suffered a Grade 1 hamstring during Sunday's win over the Washington Nationals. Frelick is hitting .294 with seven home runs and 39 RBIs this season. His status for Friday's game in Los Angeles against the Dodgers is to be determined.

7/14/25 Sal Frelick Update: Latest On Injured Brewers Breakout Star. The Milwaukee Brewers had a scare on Sunday. Do-it-all breakout star Sal Frelick was forced out of the team's first half finale against the Washington Nationals after aggravating a hamstring injury. Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shared that he aggravated the hamstring injury on a sliding catch and was going in for an MRI. "Pat Murphy says Sal Frelick had been dealing with a sore hamstring before aggravating it today on that sliding catch," Rosiak said.

Milwaukee had a runner at third, one out, and Baltimore was protecting against a bunt. Sal Frelick, instead, kept his bat above his shoulder and barreled a slider to the upper deck at American Family Field. Sal Frelick's RBI single against Zebby Matthews plated Christian Yelich to open the scoring on Sunday afternoon, ending the Minnesota Twins' franchise-record streak of 34 consecutive scoreless innings pitched. It's the first run the Twins have allowed since a Heston Kjerstad homer on Wednesday afternoon, a full four days ago.
