Right-hander Ryne Stanek can boost his pay with the New York Mets to $5 million if he makes 70 or more pitching appearances this season. The 33-year-old right-hander gets a $500,000 signing bonus and a $4 million salary as part of the $4.5 million, one-year contract announced on Jan. 30. 2/06/25 | Paul Articulates. No one has said much about it, but I am very excited to see Ryne Stanek back in a Mets' uniform this year. Stanek was signed January 30th to a one year deal that could be worth $5M with incentives. Stanek did not achieve fan favoritism last year, probably because his Mets debut was a dud, allowing 7 runs over his first five outings.
