The Toronto Blue Jays have gotten off to a solid enough start in the 2025 MLB regular season with a 12-11 record. Nine of the 14 pitchers who have made multiple appearances for the team thus far this season have ERA+ numbers in the triple digits. Signed to a three-year, $63 million deal following a strong 2022 campaign witht the New York Mets, Bassitt immediately delivered. The veteran right-hander was exceptional in his first season with the Blue Jays, going 16-8 with a 3.60 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP and 2.7 WAR over 200 innings and helping Toronto make the playoffs.
