CHICAGO (KLTV) - Former Mount Pleasant Tiger Michael Kopech threw a scoreless ninth inning for the Chicago White Sox in their 2-0 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Monday. Kopech entered the game with his team down 2-0. He got Nick Loftin to fly out and Adam Frazier to strike out before Freddy Fermin singled. Kopech ended the threat by striking out Kyle Isbel. Kopech threw 20 pitches (13 strikes). Kopech dropped his ERA to 1.93. Chicago is in last place in the AL Central with a 2-14 record.
