The Milwaukee Brewers have been significantly more active in free agency over the last few weeks than they were the entire offseaon. Milwaukee sat back and waited for Spring Training to make any big free agency moves. The biggest obviously was the recent addition of former All-Star José Quintana. The Brewers needed some more depth and signed both Manuel Margot and Mark Canha to minor-league deals.

2/21/25 Brewers & Veteran Outfielder Manuel Margot Agree To Minor League Deal. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers and veteran outfielder Manuel Margot have agreed to a minor league deal that will include an invite to spring training. The signing was first reported by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel beat writer Todd Rosiak, who states that Margot will undergo a physical today to finalize the deal. After being moved twice in the 2023–24 offseason, first from Tampa Bay to the Dodgers and then from Los Angeles to Minnesota, Margot, 30, played for the Twins in 2024 hitting .238 and just four home runs in 315 at-bats. He began his MLB career after being signed as an international prospect by the Boston Red Sox in 2011 and was the Tampa Rays recipient of the Heart and Hustle
