The Cleveland Guardians started fast on opening weekend against the Oakland A's, taking three out of four as the 2024 baseball season started. If we learned one thing about the Guardians, it is that they will be aggressive on the base paths. The aggressive play may have cost the Guards a win in the last game against the A's on March 31. Arizona scored four times in the top of the ninth inning off Juan Zapata, who does not figure into Cleveland's big league plans, and beat the Guaridans 8-6.
