The Arizona Diamondbacks have been busy moving pieces around the past couple of days, and a number of those moves have involved former Athletics players. On Sunday, they decided to release former A's outfielder Seth Brown, and on Monday they designated Kendall Graveman for assignment. Brown began this season with the Athletics, and made it into 38 games with the club before he was optioned to the minors in May. After a brief call-up in June, he landed on the IL with left elbow lateral epicondylitis. When he was ready to return, the A's released him, and he landed with the D-Backs. | 8/10/25 | Diamondbacks release OF/1B Seth Brown. August 10 - Seth Brown is in search of a new team after the Arizona Diamondbacks released the veteran outfielder and first baseman on Sunday. A seven-year pro who spent the majority of his career with the Athletics, Brown joined the Diamondbacks on a minor league deal after he was released by the Athletics earlier this season. The 33-year-old was batting .291 with six home runs for Triple-A Reno at the time of his release, including a two-homer game on Friday. Brown struggled with the Athletics to open the season, hitting just .185 with one home run and three RBIs in 38 games.
