Former New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress, who put his Super Bowl XLII ring up for auction earlier this month, saw the ring go to a bidder via Heritage Auctions for the whopping price of $280,600. The diamond-crusted 14K white gold ring, which Burress earned thanks to the Giants' triumph in Super Bowl XLII, was estimated at around $100,000.
