5/18/24 Winners and Losers of Jaguars' 2024 Offseason. The Jacksonville Jaguars are days away from the first organized team activity of the 2024 season, which signals a true end to the offseason. The Jaguars are now locked in on the upcoming season, as are their 31 peers. The Jaguars have made major investments in the defense since hiring Ryan Nielsen, while also shedding some contracts of players who were never going to make an impact with Nielsen. The signings of Ronald Darby, Darnell Savage, and especially Arik Armstead have the potential to help Nielsen and his staff hit the ground running.

5/18/24 ESPN Proposes a Jaguars Trade For Saints CB Marshon Lattimore. At the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this year, Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke made one thing clear: the cornerback room would be getting a makeover. Baalke and the Jaguars stayed true to their word; out are 2023 starters Darious Williams and Tre Herndon and in are free agents Ronald Darby and Darnell Savage, the latter of whom could play a hybrid nickel/safety role. The Jaguars also spent two draft picks on cornerbacks, taking Florida State's Jarrian Jones in the third round and Ole Miss' Deantre Prince in the fifth.

According to Inside the League's Neil Stratton, the Patriots are hiring Casey Belongia as an area scout, a role that was held by Taylor Redd for the last four seasons. Belongia had been working with the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2014 working as a scouting assistant and then as a college scout.

5/17/24 Jaguars game-by-game predictions after 2024 NFL schedule release. After a playoff berth seemed certain, the Jacksonville Jaguars somehow ended their season on the outside looking in. The Jaguars were 8-3 heading into Week 13, but five losses in their last six games doomed a team that looked destined to build on their miraculous playoff victory in 2022. The team filled many of its needs this offseason. An offensive line that gave up far too many sacks and failed to open up enough rushing lanes was improved through the addition of center Mitch Morse while re-signing a healthy Matthew Cleveland at guard.

5/17/24 Defensive back Jarrian Jones brings positive attitude, ready to make impact for Jaguars. When the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Jarrian Jones in the third round of last month's NFL Draft, the emotions were evident. After receiving the phone call letting him know he'd be a member of the Jaguars, the Florida State defensive back let out a passionate scream. “It was one of those things where I wanted to be here so bad,” Jones said during the opening day of rookie minicamp. Jones was selected No. 96 in the draft and can immediately slot in as the starting nickel in defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen's scheme.

It was a solid start to what should be a long career for the former LSU Tiger.
