When Chicago Cubs utility man Jon Berti entered Friday's game as a pinch-runner in the eighth inning, it marked the first time he had stepped on the field at Comerica Park in a game since he was playing for Troy High School nearly two decades ago. Berti is 35 years old and has played parts of eight seasons and nearly 500 games in the big leagues.
