2/21/24 Blue Jays' Bo Bichette gets painfully honest on disappointing 2023 campaign. By and large, the past three years have been successful for the Toronto Blue Jays. Alas, the Blue Jays haven't yet cracked the code on how to mount a deep postseason run, having fallen in the AL Wild Card Series for two consecutive seasons. 2023 proved to be a bit of a decline for a nascent Blue Jays squad. After winning 91 and 92 games in 2021 and 2022, respectively, they failed to breach the 90-win mark (winning 89 games) after some of the Blue Jays' core players underperformed.

2/20/24 Jays slugger Guerrero Jr. says 'no hard feelings' with team after arbitration case. The Toronto Blue Jays used different approaches when it came to the delicate matter of salary arbitration with their two homegrown franchise cornerstones. A year ago, shortstop Bo Bichette and the team agreed to a three-year deal that ensured the two sides wouldn't go through a process that can sometimes be unpleasant. The club was unable to work out something similar with first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who won his arbitration case earlier this month. The good news for the team is the slugger appears to be in good spirits at the team's development complex as preparations continue for the upcoming season.

2/17/24 Despite low expectations for the Red Sox, there's a belief in Breslow: 'Craig is going to succeed. He'll find a way.'. “If he wanted to remain in baseball, there were any number of things he could do,” said Ben Cherington, the Red Sox' general manager at the time. Intellect aside, Cherington also saw Breslow as a good teammate and an intense competitor on the mound. Breslow ended his career in 2018 as a 37-year-old minor leaguer with the Blue Jays trying to reinvent himself as a sidearmer. The Jays purposely put him on teams that included Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and other prized prospects to serve as a good example.

1/29/24 AL East Star Wants His Team to Sign 2 Former Dodgers. AL East Star Wants His Team to Sign 2 Former Dodgers Bo Bichette wants to see his team add a former Dodger or two. Author: Maren Angus-Coombs Publish date: Jan 30, 2024 11:30 AM EST In this story: Los Angeles Dodgers The names still available in free agency are surprising , but general managers across the league just don't value designated hitters the same as players who can play in the field. Some teams, like the Toronto Blue Jays, are still in need of some offensive power, and star shortstop Bo Bichette wants his front office to consider two former Dodgers. In an interview with Sportsnet 590 The FAN in Toronto, Bichette said Justin Turner and J.D. Martinez as veteran bats that, "can really

12/01/23 Yankees Potential Trade Target: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.. There have been reports in recent days that teams have called the Blue Jays on their young star players. Nothing is imminent, and any deal remains unlikely, particularly between Toronto and the Yankees. A couple of days ago, we discussed the possibility of Bo Bichette here, and this time around we'll talk about the other big name in the room, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Vladito looked like the next big thing in baseball following his otherworldly efforts in 2021, which may have resulted in MVP honors if not for Shohei Ohtani. Don't get me wrong, Vladdy has still been effective since then, and it'd be very difficult to live up to those numbers from his breakout season, but it's also undeniable he's taken a bit of a step back.

11/29/23 Blue Jays' Bo Bichette trade rumors doused with cold water by GM: 'He's our shortstop'. The Toronto Blue Jays have been underachievers of late, being swept in the American League Wild Card Series in two consecutive years. Fans are losing confidence in the organization and do not know quite what to expect in MLB free agency. Despite these unsettling circumstances, it is crystal clear that the Jays should not entertain the idea of starting over. Trading away All-Star level talents like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette would take this drifting squad completely off the trajectory towards significant success, at least in the immediate future.

11/28/23 Best Vladimir Guerrero Jr. trade destinations if Blue Jays shock the world. The MLB hot stove is beginning to heat up. The Blue Jays have been taking calls on Guerrero Jr., according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Star shortstop Bo Bichette's name has also been thrown around in trade talks, but Rosenthal shut down the notion that a trade of either player is likely.
