7/12/25 | Colts QB Forecasted to Start by 'Landslide'. Daniel Jones was signed on a one-year, $14 million deal to come to the Indianapolis Colts and compete with Anthony Richardson. While it's a smart move by the Colts, since Richardson had such a bad season, it's also a sign that the franchise isn't 100 percent confident in their former fourth-overall selection. It's not to say the Colts don't believe in Richardson at all, but rather, they must win now and can't wait for the athletic field general to develop. 7/10/25 | NY Giants 2025 Training Camp Preview: Is the Quarterback Situation Better?. In watching the New York Giants' offseason unfold, it was rather interesting that of all the positions on the offensive side of the ball, general manager Joe Schoen poured the most resources into the quarterback room. Not that he had a choice after Daniel Jones, whom the team had hoped would be their franchise quarterback for the next decade plus, didn't work out. With the Giants having had to move on from Jones midway through last season, the handwriting was on the wall for the position. The problem for the Giants, though, is that their plan to rebuild the quarterback room is not necessarily going to be completed in one season, unlike how Washington with Jayden Daniels or New England with Drake Maye were able to do.
