5/21/25 Former Seattle Mariners Infielder Has High Praise For Manager Dan Wilson. Speaking at his locker this week before a game against the Seattle Mariners, Chicago White Sox' infielder Josh Rojas had high praise for his old manager, Dan Wilson. Wilson was hired by the M's in late August of 2024 in relief of Scott Servais, who was let go after a two-month swoon that saw the team lose a 10.0-game lead in the American League West. Rojas played for the Mariners from July of 2023 through the 2024 season. Rojas had been acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks in a 2023 trade that sent Paul Sewald to Arizona.

3/26/25 Arizona native Josh Rojas aims to lead Chicago White Sox to relevance. The Litchfield Park native is gearing up for his seventh year in the majors, this time as a utility player for the Chicago White Sox. Returning to Arizona for spring training after joining the White Sox this past offseason carried special meaning, as Camelback Ranch is just a short distance from his hometown. “It's awesome,” Rojas said after a recent session at the team's spring training facilities.

White Sox infielder Josh Rojas (hairline fracture in his right big toe) is hoping to get on the field in the next three or four days. The Sox host the Angels next Thursday to open the season, and while having Rojas ready seems optimistic, they're not yet ruling it out, knowing the next few days will give more clarity. “The biggest thing is keeping my body in shape so when I feel I'm ready I can go full speed,” Rojas said. 2/07/25 Seattle Mariners' intriguing option if 3B defense is lacking. The Seattle Mariners had well documented offensive issues for much of the 2024 season, but one thing they could almost always count on was solid defense at an important position: third base. This offseason, Seattle did not tender a contract to Josh Rojas, who was the team's primary third baseman in 2024. Polanco has much more power and a higher ceiling at the plate than Rojas, but he's not known for his defense.
