6/27/25 | Guardians could target former Orioles All-Star at the trade deadline. It's been a strange season for the Cleveland Guardians. At 40-39, they are 9.5 games out of first-place in the AL Central, but are just 0.5 games out of the AL's third Wild Card spot. Steven Kwan has been hit typical All-Star self, hitting .306 with a .799 OPS this season, but aside from him, it's hasn't been pretty. Source: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/mlb/cleveland-guar... |
6/27/25 | Cleveland Guardians Predicted to Complete Major Trade for AL Slugger. In case you didn't know, the Cleveland Guardians desperately need offense, especially when it comes to their outfield. Outside of Steven Kwan, the Guardians' offensive production from their outfielder has been nothing short of an unmitigated disaster this season, and while Cleveland has intriguing prospects like Chase DeLauter and C.J. Kayfus that could potentially solve the problem, the team may be better served filling those gaps with proven MLB talents. Source: https://www.si.com/mlb/guardians/news/cleveland-gu... |
6/19/25 | Guardians star rumored to be potential trade candidate. The Cleveland Guardians are in the middle of the wild card race as the halfway point of the season draws near. As the team thinks about whether it will be sellers or buyers at next month's trade deadline, one Cleveland star's name was mentioned as possible trade bait before the deadline. Earlier this week on air, Aaron Goldhamer of ESPN Cleveland floated Guardians' star outfielder Steven Kwan as potentially being moved before the deadline if Cleveland's season takes a downward turn. 6/18/25 | MLB Insider Names Slugger As Possible Trade Fit for Guardians. It remains to be determined whether the Cleveland Guardians will be buyers, sellers, or somewhere in between as the MLB trade deadline quickly approaches. If the Guardians do plan to upgrade their roster between now and the end of July, it's pretty clear where the front office should focus: the outfield. Outside of Steven Kwan, Cleveland's outfield production has been lackluster at best. Perhaps the inevitable call-ups of prospects Chase DeLauter and/or CJ Kayfus can help with that, but the Guardians should still be looking for a proven big-league bat to add to their lineup. 6/18/25 | Guardians Star Outfielder Clinched Much-Needed Win for Cleveland. Steven Kwan is one of the best leadoff hitters in baseball. The Giants were threatening to tie or take the lead in the eighth inning of the 3-2 ballgame, with runners on first and second base with no outs. Kwan got a great jump in left field to grab the line drive hit by Wilmer Flores, but it's what happened after that catch that might have saved the game.
