7/06/23	Phillies Complete Sweep Of Rays. The Philadelphia Phillies (47-39) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (57-33) 3-1 in eleven innings on Thursday night at Tropicana Field. Each team traded solo home runs in regulation - Darick Hall hit his solo blast in the top of the fifth, before Isaac Paredes responded with a solo shot in the bottom of the same frame. Tied 1-1 after nine innings, neither team was able to get anything in the tenth. The Phillies then broke through with two runs in the top of the eleventh off Rays reliver Ryan Thompson (1-2, 6.11), which would be enough to get the victory. The Rays now host the team with the best record in baseball, the Atlanta Braves, beginning on Friday night.
