5/14/24 Ejections provide a spark, Michael Siani and Paul Goldschmidt provide runs for Cardinals. LYNN WORTHY St. Louis Post-Dispatch May 12—MILWAUKEE — An inch or two could have changed the outcome in the Cardinals' favor on Saturday night, had center fielder Michael Siani been able to steal a home run from Milwaukee Brewers slugger Rhys Hoskins at the wall. Siani acknowledged the ball did hit part of his glove on the way over the wall.

5/12/24 Cardinals rally after ejections of Marmol and Descalso to snap 7-game skid by beating Brewers 4-3. Michael Siani doubled home the go-ahead run, Paul Goldschmidt homered to break out of his slump and the St. Louis Cardinals rallied to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 and snap a seven-game skid on Sunday. Goldschmidt had gone 1 of 34 in May until he led off the fifth inning with just his third homer of the season, a drive to center off Bryse Wilson. Goldschmidt also hit a game-tying, two-out RBI single in the sixth against Jared Koenig as the Cardinals erased an early three-run deficit.

5/11/24 Angels Broadcaster Sponsored Cardinals Outfielder's High School Tuition. When the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Los Angeles Angels next week, the series will hold a special meaning for broadcaster Mark Gubicza that goes beyond the baseball field. After his father died in 1991, Gubicza set up a scholarship to William Penn Charter in his honor of a student from Roxborough, his Philadelphia neighborhood. Michael Siani, an outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals, is the first recipient of that scholarship to reach the big leagues.

4/24/24 Michael Siani seeks to play 'my game' as opportunities come his way: Cardinals Extra. Apr. 22—As he rose through the Pennsylvania preps scene and the minors, Cardinals outfielder Michael Siani had a firm grasp on how he could influence a game. The 24-year-old rookie and former fourth-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Reds saw how his reliability on defense and his “smart” and aggressive base running were some of his defining traits.

3/15/24 Marlins beat Cardinals 8-4 in Friday night spring training game. Michael Siani, fighting for a spot as a reserve outfielder, got the start in center field and had two hits and made a nice running catch. It was a good night for King, but a bad night for Rom, the opposite of how their springs had been going.

3/08/24 With playing time to claim, young outfielders pick up pace in Cardinals win vs. Nationals. As the Cardinals rallied to tie the game in the first inning, two of the young outfielders about to get much longer looks this spring set the pace for the eventual victory. Michael Siani and Victor Scott II, batting the wraparound ninth and first in the Cardinals' lineup, respectively, both had RBI singles and showed off their speed as part of a three-run rally in the second inning. The Cardinals regained the lead in that inning and held on for a 7-6 victory in three hours against Washington at Cacti Park of the Palm Beaches. Earlier in the afternoon, the Cardinals announced that Lars Nootbaar (fractured ribs) would be slowed for at least 10 days and possibly several weeks, and the Cardinals added that it is now "doubtful" that Tommy Edman (wrist surgery) will be ready for opening day.

1/24/23 Michael Siani is the #13 prospect in the Cincinnati Reds system. Mike Siani is undoubtedly the most talented defensive CF the Reds have at any level, and after developing a bit more pop during the 2022 season, he made his big league debut. With the kind of speed capable of changing games on the bases and a cup of big league coffee under his belt, there’s a very real chance that the stars align for him to be the Cincinnati Reds CF come Opening Day, too. Maybe then we’ll find out if he prefers to go by Michael or Mike!
