7/01/25 Brewers Days Away From Next Franchise-Altering Decision. The Milwaukee Brewers are just 12 days away from adding another top prospect to the organization. In recent years, the Brewers have had some success in the draft. For example, the current big league roster is loaded with Milwaukee draft picks like Sal Frelick, Jacob Misiorowski, and Brice Turang among others. Milwaukee has the No. 20 overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft and ESPN's David Schoenfield predicted that the Brewers will opt to use the pick on high school slugger Xavier Neyens.

5/20/25 Orioles' offense struggles again in 8th straight loss, 5-2 to Brewers. Orioles infielders crept forward, their toes hinging on the grass. Milwaukee had a runner at third, one out, and Baltimore was protecting against a bunt. Sal Frelick, instead, kept his bat above his shoulder and barreled a slider to the upper deck at American Family Field. After following opener Keegan Akin, Chayce McDermott went 4 2/3 innings, walking five, striking out two and surrendering three of Milwaukee's runs in a 5-2 loss, the club's eighth straight.

Sal Frelick's RBI single against Zebby Matthews plated Christian Yelich to open the scoring on Sunday afternoon, ending the Minnesota Twins' franchise-record streak of 34 consecutive scoreless innings pitched. It's the first run the Twins have allowed since a Heston Kjerstad homer on Wednesday afternoon, a full four days ago.

5/06/25 Brewers' Sal Frelick remains out of lineup with knee issue but says he should return later this week. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Sal Frelick was out of the lineup for a second straight night with a knee issue but believes he should be ready to play again later this week. Frelick had left the Brewers' 4-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday with discomfort in his left knee after hurting it while taking a swing. Frelick underwent an MRI that showed no major damage, and the 2024 NL Gold Glove right fielder said he felt much better when he woke up Tuesday. “From what the trainers are saying, it seems like they'll try to keep me out until the off day to get an extra day and be ready to go on Friday,” Frelick said before the Brewers' Tuesday night game with the Houston Astros.

4/17/25 Brewers' Sal Frelick Amazingly Credits First Home Run Of Season To America Hero. The Milwaukee Brewers honored an American hero before Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers, and he lent a helping hand to outfielder Sal Frelick at the plate. Edward Miklavcic, a Pearl Harbor survivor, threw out the first pitch ahead of the Brewers' 5-to-1 win against Detroit. Frelick, being one of them, had much to say about his time with Miklavcic and believes he owes the 105-year-old thanks for more than just his time serving this country. "There's very few superheroes in the world and he's one of them,” Frelick told media as transcribed by MLB.com's Adam McCalvy.

3/27/25 Milwaukee Brewers score vs New York Yankees live updates from opening day game. Sal Frelick is 2-for-2 to start the year. The Yankees still lead heading to the bottom of the fourth, 2-1. My personal audio feed cut out at the imperfect time, but my understanding is that Brewers radio broadcaster Lane Grindle employed the "Get up, get outta here, gone" call on Capra's home run, which is a really cool nod to the departed broadcast legend, Bob Uecker.

3/25/25 Brewers Fan-Favorite Addresses Injury Scare Before Opening Day. The Milwaukee Brewers recently had some injury scares but everything is trending in the right direction ahead of Opening Day. One guy who recently missed some time is young fan-favorite Sal Frelick. Frelick shined in his returned and then discussed the injury afterward, as transcribed by MLB.com's Jack Magruder. "Probably wouldn't even say anything if it was during the season," Frelick said as transcribed by Magruder.

The kids received gifts and traded baseball stories with the players. Friday they'll meet more players, participate in warmups, and tour the clubhouse. 2/18/25 Milwaukee Brewers' Gold Glover Makes Drastic Physical Change Heading into 2025. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Sal Frelick has added 25 pounds of muscle heading into spring training, according to a report from MLB.com. According to Brewers reporter Adam McCalvy, Frelick has added the bulk in order to stay strong the entire season, and it could also help some more authority to his offensive profile. At the plate, his 83.4 mph average exit velocity was the lowest in baseball, per Statcast, and while that may not dramatically change with the added bulk, Frelick is eager to feel stronger as the season wears on. The 24-year-old Massachusetts native was a first-round pick in the 2021 draft out of Boston College, making his debut in 2023.
