The addition of the Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system has been a major storyline for the 2026 MLB season. Reviews have been largely positive, but it has been a as they learn to best utilize the new rules. A little over a third of the way through the regular season, let’s check in on how the Giants and Athletics are faring with their ABS challenges compared to other organizations.
