3/14/24 Ron Washington drops most Ron Washington quote ever about LA Angels' Jordyn Adams. Welp, it's time for Jordyn Adams to hit the weight room. At least that's what one could infer based on Ron Washington's latest comment about the Los Angeles Angels outfielder. According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Washington sees big things for Adams once he outgrows his "little baby body." Adams, who had been known as an outstanding defender, misplayed a fly ball and made three bad throws in his first big-league game in August in Atlanta. Now, the Angels' 24-year-old prospect can look back on his big-league debut and appreciate what was missing. “Mentally, I probably wasn't ready for that,” Adams said this week.

8/19/23 Angels suffer most lopsided loss of 2023 in doubleheader split. ANAHEIM ? The ball bounced lazily to Angels center fielder Jordyn Adams, nicked off the heel of his glove, and skipped about 15 feet to his right. By the time he looked up, Yandy Diaz was rounding first, turning a routine single into a free trip to second base. Adams relayed the ball to the infield and slouched sadly, leaning his hands on his knees. The next batter, Randy Arozarena, hit a two-run home run in the Angels' 18-4 loss before an announced crowd of 35,803.
