1/19/25 Patriots Linked to Chiefs Former All-Pro WR. The New England Patriots have found their new head coach and they're set to head into the upcoming NFL offseason with a chance to take a huge step in the right direction. Loaded with cap space and excellent draft capital, the Patriots' front office and Mike Vrabel are equipped well to bring in impact talent. With the right moves, they could make some noise as a sleeper playoff contender in 2025. One areas that New England is widely expected to address is wide receiver. Bringing in a legitimate top target for Drake Maye should be very close to the top of the list of things to do. While names like Tee Higgins and Travis Hunter have been thrown around, there's a chance that the Patriots will miss

1/18/25 Patriots predicted to land Bengals $21 million star to address major need. Now that the New England Patriots appear to have their franchise quarterback in Drake Maye after what was a successful rookie season considering the circumstances, it's time to upgrade the weapons around him. The Patriots have attempted to fill their need at wide receiver through the draft in recent years, but the results haven't been great and now it's time to bring in an established option to ensure that Maye has the No. 1 target he needs. One avenue the Patriots could explore is signing Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, who is slated to hit free agency after playing on the $21.8 million franchise tag in 2024.

1/17/25 Six Defensive Coordinator Candidates For Mike Vrabel, Patriots. The Patriots officially handed the keys to their new head coach on Sunday, but the work doesn't stop there. Mike Vrabel has a staff to build. Vrabel's primary focus will be finding the right people on the offensive side of the football, as the development of second-year quarterback Drake Maye is paramount to the organization's overall success. New England's defensive staff can't afford to go untouched, though, as the entire unit needs a complete overhaul.

1/16/25 Drake Maye's fiancée Ann Michael Hudson. Drake Maye just had a steller rookie season, despite the New England Patriots' poor record. Last year's number three overall pick flashed stardom in his first season, giving Patriots fans tons of optimism for the future. A Week 18 win did prevent the Patriots from getting the first pick (and the top prospect for Maye to work with) in the 2025 NFL Draft, but Maye got something even better than an elite football weapon ahead of the offseason, as he now has a future wife. Maye proposed to Ann Michael Hudson, and in this article, we are going to look at just who his fiancée is.

1/13/25 NFL Insider Suggests Alex Van Pelt Could Leave Patriots For This Team. The Patriots already said goodbye to Jerod Mayo, and it wouldn't be surprising if his top assistants in the 2024 season were shown the door as well. Alex Van Pelt and DeMarcus Covington probably both are bound for new endeavors next season. New England should look to replace Covington after its defense completely fell apart as the campaign unfolded. Van Pelt deserves a lot of credit for helping with Drake Maye's development, but new head coach Mike Vrabel might have a more preferable offensive coordinator in mind.

1/11/25 Colts Predicted to Poach Patriots QB. The New England Patriots might have their quarterback situation settled for the 2025 NFL season. Drake Maye is the clear-cut franchise quarterback, while Joe Milton III may have ended the backup competition already with his performance in the season finale. If that scenario ends up becoming reality, Jacoby Brissett would be the odd man out of the Patriots' quarterback room. More than likely, Brissett will be looking for an opportunity to play.

1/10/25 Patriots Named Landing Spot for Former Saints First-Round Pick. The New England Patriots have holes everywhere heading into the NFL offseason, but one of their most glaring weaknesses is along their offensive line. Finding help in the trenches should be a massive priority for the Patriots in the coming months, as they need to ensure they protect quarterback Drake Maye. Fortunately, New England will have plenty of cap room to sign free agents, but it can also explore the trade market for answers. David Latham of Last Word On Sports has identified a very interesting trade target for the Pats: New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Trevor Penning. "The Patriots could use three new tackles next year, as Vederian Lowe and Demontrey Jacobs are not NFL-caliber starters,

1/09/25 Possible head coach candidate thinks Drake Maye will be top-five QB. 1/09/25 Patriots are reportedly already receiving trade calls on rookie QB. New England Patriots sixth-round pick Joe Milton III spent the first 17 weeks of his rookie season as the team's emergency quarterback, dressing on game day but unable to play unless both Drake Maye and Jacoby Brissett were injured. Milton did so well that Pro Football Focus' Steve Palazzolo reported that "quarterback-needy teams have inquired" about trading for the rookie.

1/08/25 Patriots Could Poach Star WR from Fierce Rival. The New England Patriots are entering the NFL offseason in drastic need of a roster overhaul, but perhaps their biggest area of need is at wide receiver. The Patriots desperately need to add some weapons for quarterback Drake Maye, and if Tee Higgins ends up spurning them, they should have plenty of other options. Among them is Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper, and Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox has named New England as one of the top potential destinations for the star pass-catcher.
