It turns out Pittsburgh Pirates closer Aroldis Chapman didn't say anything to precipitate his suspension in mid-April during a game against the New York Mets. According to The New York Post, Chapman was suspended a game “for tossing a baseball backhand toward the umpires that rolled and hit another umpire.” The suspension was reduced from two games after Chapman agreed to not appeal.
