7/09/25 Eovaldi Left Off All Star Team While Ranking Near Top in Multiple AL Categories. It has not been the best season for the Texas Rangers so far, but one of the bright spots has been the pitching staff, and especially right-hander Nathan Eovaldi during one of the best years of his career. Eovaldi has struck out 86 batters and has held their batting average to a .194 while only walking 13. Team radio broadcaster Jared Sandler reported his personal frustrations with the All-Star snub.

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- - Nathan Eovaldi allowed one unearned run in six innings, Jake Burger and Wyatt Langford each homered and drove in four runs, and the Texas Rangers blew out the Los Angeles Angels 13-1 on Tuesday night. Eovaldi (6-3) gave up five hits, struck out six and walked none to lower his ERA to 1.62 in 15 starts, the best among major league pitchers with at least 80 innings. Corey Seager hit his 13th homer, Evan Carter drove in three runs, and Texas took advantage of nine walks, with six of those scoring. 7/08/25 Rangers' Nathan Eovaldi continues comeback against Angels. Texas right-hander Nathan Eovaldi on Tuesday night will make his third start since missing almost a month with right triceps tightness when the Rangers play the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, Calif. Texas will try to bounce back from a 6-5 walk-off loss to the Angels on Monday. Eovaldi (5-3, 1.75 ERA) was on the injured list from May 29 until June 27. Eovaldi threw just 45 pitches in his return in a 7-6, 12-inning loss to Seattle on June 27, allowing three runs on five hits over three innings with two walks and two strikeouts.

7/04/25 Texas Rangers Land Intriguing SEC Pitcher in Latest MLB Mock Draft. The Texas Rangers have a relatively stable starting rotation if one were to look past next season. The Rangers expect Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi to be the anchors of their rotation for the next two years. Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker, both former first-round picks, are now members of the starting rotation for the foreseeable future.
