5/08/24 Philadelphia Phillies Viewed as Top Landing Spot for 26-year-old All-Star. The Philadelphia Phillies have been cruising in recent weeks, going 9-1 during their last 10 games. After losing in the World Series two seasons ago and failing to get back there by losing in the NLCS, players on the roster understand they need to be better to accomplish their goal. Nearly 40 games into the season, the Phillies have the most wins in baseball and have been clicking on both sides of the baseball. Nick Castellanos looks like a completely different player this season but has found his stride, getting a hit in each of his last four games.

Phillies Struggling Superstar Viewed As One Of Baseball's 'Biggest Disasters' The Philadelphia Phillies have a superstar player off to a cold start and people are starting to worry. Author: Dylan Sanders May 03, 2024 In this story: Philadelphia Phillies MLB Nick Castellanos The Philadelphia Phillies have been off to a hot start in 2024, but that is not the case for all of their players. In fact, one of their superstars has been off to such a poor start that Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller named him as one of the biggest disasters of the season. Nick Castellanos is slashing just .186/.250/.254 through the first 32 games of 2024. He's been by far the worst of Philadelphia's regular contributors

Philadelphia Phillies Two Most Criticized Hitters Come Up Clutch In Massive Win It may have been early, but there were two Philadelphia Phillies hitters who were getting the most criticism. 4/30/24 9th-inning homers carry Phillies past Angels. The Philadelphia Phillies rallied with a pair of ninth-inning homers to beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-5 on Tuesday night to even up their three-game series in Anaheim, Calif. Nick Castellanos tied the game 5-5 with one out off Angels closer Carlos Estevez, who was tasked with trying to complete a four-out save, by launching a solo shot to right. After a ground-rule double from Bryson Stott, Johan Rojas took Estevez deep to left for his first homer of the year and a 7-5 lead. The red-hot Phillies have won 12 of their last 15 games.

4/27/24 Phillies' Nick Castellanos talks strategy for breaking out of slumps. While the Philadelphia Phillies look to once again have a solid season like last year where they won 90 games and made some noise in the postseason, there is one element that needs to be locked in if the team wants success. At the current moment, Phillies star Nick Castellanos is in a slump, but maybe Friday's win over the San Diego Padres could be the start of something great for the 32-year old. It was a great day for the Phillies offense as they beat the Padres, 9-3, where five people hit home runs including Castellanos who hit his first one of the season as he has played in 27 games so far. “Anytime that you get confidence, that you have results, that just builds you up a little bit,” Castellanos said.

Author: Jon Conahan Apr 24, 2024 In this story: Philadelphia Phillies Nick Castellanos MLB The Philadelphia Phillies have played at a high level over their past 10 games, sitting at 8-2 in their last 10. Currently 15-9 and in second place in the National League East, the Phillies are in a great position to keep pace with the Atlanta Braves and fight for the division when the season ends. While they've played better in recent weeks, there's still been massive struggles out of one of their best players. Nick Castellanos, who some believed

4/24/24 Nick Castellanos knows the “highs and lows” of baseball. Here's how he's navigating this low.. CINCINNATI — Nick Castellanos does not enjoy being a streaky hitter. But that is what he is, and he has learned how to manage the highs and the lows. Right now, he is in a low. After going 0-for-4 on Tuesday night, the Phillies rightfielder is hitting .184/.245/.207 on the season with 21 strikeouts and seven walks. He has just one extra-base hit — the triple he hit on April 20. He is striking out less (23.3%) and walking more (7.8%) than he was in 2023, but by and large, the results aren't there. Nevertheless, he feels like his swing has been more consistent of late. He isn't thinking as much, which is helpful, because overthinking is not useful in times like these. The tricky thing about slumps

Now Castellanos strode to the plate with the bases loaded with Phillies and one out in the ninth inning, new Pirates reliever Roansy Contreras ready to try to throw one by him.

4/13/24 Nick Castellanos still searching for answers as Phillies RF works way out of season-long funk. Nick Castellanos is still searching for answers toward his approach at the plate. The Philadelphia Phillies right fielder can't explain how he's finding his way out of a slump that's plagued him the first two weeks of the season, even though he believes he's turning a corner. "I feel better, since the St. Louis series for sure," Castellanos said after Friday's loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. "My swing is coming out more often." Castellanos had a hit in Friday's loss but was booed by some of the 35,578 fans in attendance after a swinging strikeout in the ninth inning.

4/04/24 Phillies news and rumors 4/4: Rob Thomson says Nick Castellanos ‘has gotta get used to’ new scoreboard. The awkward attempt Nick Castellanos gave on a sixth inning Jake Fraley double Wednesday night might have seemed like the byproduct of a few different factors working against the Phillies right fielder. 3/30/24 MLB fans were furious after Max Fried's clear strike was called a ball during Braves-Phillies. The Atlanta Braves suffered one of the more maddening missed calls on a pitch you'll see in a MLB game this season. As he was pitching against Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos on Saturday in the bottom of the first inning, Braves ace Max Fried threw a clean pitch right into the middle of the strike zone that should've sent Castellanos to the bench and concluded the inning for Philly.

3/18/24 This Nick Castellanos Jersey is One of the Phillies Best Giveaways of All-Time… for Fans 14 & Under. This Nick Castellanos jersey is one of the Phillies' best ever giveaways. This jersey would put up 2006 Ryan Howard numbers at day-longs and tailgates. Instead, the Phillies are giving them to teenagers who will outgrow them in 18 months. It never made sense to me that most of the Phils' giveaways are designed for kids 14 & under.
