The Detroit Tigers will add a player to their active roster before they open the second part of the season in Seattle on Friday night, filling the vacancy created when veteran outfielder Jake Marisnick was designated for assignment five days ago. Many fans would like to see Colt Keith, Justyn-Henry Malloy or Parker Meadows. Instead, they're more likely to see Nick Maton return to the big-league roster after a brief sabbatical in Triple-A Toledo. Why haven't we seen any of the Tigers' top three position player prospects make the drive from Toledo to Detroit so far in 2023?
