4/24/24 Michael Siani seeks to play 'my game' as opportunities come his way: Cardinals Extra. Apr. 22—As he rose through the Pennsylvania preps scene and the minors, Cardinals outfielder Michael Siani had a firm grasp on how he could influence a game. The 24-year-old rookie and former fourth-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Reds saw how his reliability on defense and his “smart” and aggressive base running were some of his defining traits.

3/15/24 Marlins beat Cardinals 8-4 in Friday night spring training game. Michael Siani, fighting for a spot as a reserve outfielder, got the start in center field and had two hits and made a nice running catch. It was a good night for King, but a bad night for Rom, the opposite of how their springs had been going.

3/08/24 With playing time to claim, young outfielders pick up pace in Cardinals win vs. Nationals. As the Cardinals rallied to tie the game in the first inning, two of the young outfielders about to get much longer looks this spring set the pace for the eventual victory. Michael Siani and Victor Scott II, batting the wraparound ninth and first in the Cardinals' lineup, respectively, both had RBI singles and showed off their speed as part of a three-run rally in the second inning. The Cardinals regained the lead in that inning and held on for a 7-6 victory in three hours against Washington at Cacti Park of the Palm Beaches. Earlier in the afternoon, the Cardinals announced that Lars Nootbaar (fractured ribs) would be slowed for at least 10 days and possibly several weeks, and the Cardinals added that it is now "doubtful" that Tommy Edman (wrist surgery) will be ready for opening day.
