3/08/24 | Oscar Colas included in first round of spring training cuts. White Sox manager Pedro Grifol made sure to emphasize that Oscar Colas did nothing wrong after he was among the first roster cuts. “We saw improvements on every facet of his game,” Grifol said Friday morning. Colas, who started last year on the major-league roster, will get an opportunity at Triple-A Charlotte to hone the fundamentals of the game. Grifol said Colas will get the opportunity to play the outfield in the minors. Source: https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2024/03/08/... |
2/27/24 | Spring Training Job Battles: AL Central. Last week, we kicked off our Spring Training Job Battles series with the AL East and NL East . Fletcher was acquired via trade from the Diamondbacks in early February and general manager Chris Getz said shortly after that the 26-year-old "has a leg up" in the competition for the right field gig.
